How this guide is made
Lumoriis covers eighteen hotels in four categories and nothing else. The list is fixed, so entries are revised rather than replaced, and each one is written to the same plan. What follows explains how the guide is put together and what it deliberately leaves out.
How the hotels were chosen
Each category needed buildings that could be described accurately from public material. Art hotels were chosen for structures with a documented past, winter sites for operators who publish what they build each season, capsule hotels for their shared floors, and casino resorts for their public parts. Nobody paid to be included and nobody was excluded for declining anything.
Where the information comes from
Entries are written from hotel and operator websites, published maps and reporting that names its own sources. Claims that could not be confirmed were dropped instead of softened. Where a hotel belongs to a group with several addresses, the entry says so, because a group description rarely matches the site in front of you.
What this guide does not carry
There are no prices, no star classifications, no room counts, no ratings, no reviews and no booking links. Nothing on the site is affiliated or paid. The gaming floors of the casino resorts are not described, pictured or discussed. Photographs show buildings and shared spaces, never guests.
Updates and corrections
Each entry carries the month it was last checked. Winter sites are reviewed again before every season, because snow and glass structures are rebuilt or refitted each year and a description can go out of date in months. If something here is wrong, write to us through the contact page and name the entry.
